A New Decade, a Serene New You?

Updated: Apr 19, 2022

The start of a new decade in 2020 has left the majority of us determined to lead a better one. New visions are a fantastic drive for change, however studies show trying to achieve several goals at once is often less effective for productivity than focusing on achieving one goal at a time. It can also lead us to create added pressure on ourselves, increasing our stress levels and ironically affecting our health as a result.

"Is there a way around this?" The simple answer is no. "What if I don't have the time to focus on one goal at at time?". If you aren't juggling too many goals it's much easier to create a sense of balance in your life - you are more likely to succeed and be productive if you are relaxed, well rested and healthy.

Our simple message to you for this year at the start of this decade is: yes, keep aspiring to meet your visions but don't get so caught up in the process that you neglect time for self care. Research also indicates that people who exercise, eat well, sleep well and socialise regularly are overall a lot happier than those that don't. And a happier you means a healthier you!

Those struggling with this will be pleased to hear we have provided you with a leap in the right direction. Check out our Wellness workshops that allow you to unwind and are a perfect reinforcement of self-care. If you can't attend ours, make sure you look for similar events nearby to you, and you can thank us later!

We will be providing workshops for both men and women in time, so all we ask is of you to listen to our message and to watch this space!
